Anything Lego is awesome!!  Sammy loves this book.  It is looked at often.

Skiing and Dinner

One of our Thursday night ski adventures.  We sometimes would come in when it was cold to warm up.  Of course we would have to get some chill fries an a soft drink to share.  I really enjoyed the time we spent up at Hilltop.  Kids really earned their ski legs there. 

Alaska Home Magazine

Rock Climbing wall made it in Alaska Home Magazine.  Really nice article too.  It was fairly simple to get our story in the magazine.  I just called them up, and let them know that I had probably the largest private indoor rock wall in Alaska.  They were interested to say the least.  Funny thing - three days prior to the shoot at the house, I painted the entire upstairs, the stair way and the entry way.  I put in a lot of hours and well . . . it payed off, everything looked great!

Bro-mance

Ha Ha!!  Forgot about my lunch "date" with a co-worker Gary.  Gary is a great guy and always willing to help me out with projects.  He is a wine aficionado and gets coupons at the wine store down the street.  Thanks for the lunch.  I appreciate the invites!!!

Fancy food, or "rich people" food as I call it.  I prefer "bar food", burgers, pizza, wings, etc.  but I am never one to turn down a free meal.  While the portions were small . . . it WAS good!!

Escape from the Cold!!

Some pictures from the beginning of the Spring break California trip.  The kids were very excited to get out of the cold for a while and have fun in the sun.  Legoland here we come!!

Beach Day - California

I remember this as a wonderful day.  Playing on the beach in Long Beach.  Super temperatures, uncrowded beach, and cool breeze in our hair.  

Perfect afternoon for kicking back.  Got to love being on a beach watching the kids play in the surf!

The kids loved the surf.  Hard to keep them out of the waves!!

We walked down to the board walk a after we had our fill of beach time. 

It was cool to see the surfers with the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean.

The boys are loving life!!

Somebody barely made it out of the parking lot before he fell asleep.  A little sand and sun will do that to a kid.
