Worked on Zach's Pinewood Derby Car (due Thurs) and his Science Fair Project (due Wed). Not quite the last minute but . . . They will both be good. I like helping him out. He just needs to remember this when I am OLD!! HaHa

March 2015 - Summary round-up
Summary of the month of March 2015.
The month of March started out foggy and with little snow.
Another celebration of Sammy's Birthday. We had some friends over and decided to have another birthday cupcake with candle.
Vicky and her son Bruce live down the street and are fun. Vicky is from China.
Tired of looking at this wall at the cabin. This is pretty much the last big project that needs to be complete. Going to tile it. Wanted to document where all of the electrical cables are located in it first before it gets closed in.
Everyone is getting their spring skiing in. Looking pretty rough up there, but the crowds are still coming.
Progressive dinner with Anne Weise and her family and the Olsons.
Started off the evening at the Weise condo. Lots of fun catching up with everyone.
Next stop was our cabin. Biggest group we had had in the cabin to that point. It was fun entertaining and showing off the cabin.
The last stop was the Olson's condo. We had looked at that building before we bought our cabin. They have a super fun common game room located behind their unit. Open the back door and you are in this really big commons space complete with weights, pool table and fooseball. Very fun!
Cabin finally complete!! All major project done. Shots of the complete rooms.
Zach working on his science fair project. His project involved picking up styrofoam with static electricity.
Boat show in Anchorage with the Tundra comic strip author. One of Zach's heroes!!
The boys getting some last runs for the season! Beautiful day out for Alaska.
Tram runs!
Lunch at the Sitzmark. Using our Powder Cache from our season passes.
Gary won the "beard off" contest. Got extra points for style.
Pinewood derby time again.
Zach ran a real competitive car. Sam's wasn't quite as fast. I had fun building them and the boys had fun decorating the cars.
Good friend Jeff ended up coming in first with his son's car. We came in a close second! There is always next year.
Celebrating completion of the cabin with good friend Gary. Gary was instrumental in helping us get everything done. Absolutely could not have done this project without him.
Gary sharing a very nice bottle of wine from the wine caves in Moldova.
Nicest bottle of wine I think I have ever had. Fancy
The crew celebrates a job well done! Just a little over 90 days for all of the large projects.
Birthday party for Dustin at the Davis household. It was kind of an open house too, as they had moved recently.
Fun seeing everyone that we rarely get to see.
Nice to reconnect with Todd and Becca.
More chair 3 runs for me and the boys at Alyeska.
Silliness at the Sitzmark.
New grill, much smaller than the old one. I love it!! Heats up in a jiffy and is all the grill we need for 90% of the time.
Zach finding a very large unusual strawberry!
Shooting rifles with Stephen P. We have quite the arsenal.
Checking out the new Anchorage Brewing Company.
Helmet hair after skiing. Talk about crazy hair day!!
Fun hiking in Gird. Enjoying the rain.
Billy and Aimee came down to Gird for a campfire. They are getting ready to move back East, so it was nice to catch up before they leave.
The kids always have a fun time hanging out together, and Billy and Aimee are the best!! I worked with both of them at Channel 11 all of those years ago.
Well, that is it for March 2015. Will get more past updates soon, and fill in the holes on this blog.
